Today I purchased 72 shares of IXUS – iShares Core MSCI Total International Stock ETF for a total purchase price of $3,846.96.
I just finished up the book Unshakeable by Anthony Robbins.
A pretty simple book in places, but a good reminder that investing doesn’t need to be complicated. He talks a lot about simple concepts like indexing, diversification, and making sure your expenses stay low. Most importantly, he talks about what it takes to remain fearless in today’s market, even while it’s at all-time highs. To not fear the correction, but rather to look forward to it.
So as such, I’m doing a little diversification and indexing of my own, and picking up a little International exposure. iShares have the lowest index ETF expense ratios, and their International index has an expense ratio of just 0.11% and a yield of 2.43%.
I’m going to be doing a bit more indexing going forward, so pushing with a combination of FANG, dividend investing, and index investing.
Maybe I’ll have to change the site name to something more representative of my evolving approach.
Thanks for stopping by.
